The 5th International Conference on Rare Diseases (RARE2023), Budapest, Hungary 30\/11\/2023 – 01\/12\/2023, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME\u00ae) with 11.5 European CME credits (ECMEC\u00aes)<\/strong>. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he\/she actually spent in the educational activity.<\/span><\/p>\n Through an agreement between the Union Europ\u00e9enne des M\u00e9decins Sp\u00e9cialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME\u00ae credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME\u00ae credit to AMA credit can be found at https:\/\/edhub.ama-assn.org\/pages\/applictations .<\/a><\/span> Information regarding the conversion of EACCME\u00ae credits<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Credit will be converted based on one (1) hour of participation equalling one credit for all activities. Physicians wishing to convert EACCME\u00ae credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit\u2122 will be required to access the AMA website at https:\/\/edhub.ama-assn.org\/pages\/applictations<\/a> to obtain the necessary paperwork and instructions. Physicians and other health care professionals will be required to pay a processing fee to the AMA.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span> The EACCME\u00ae<\/span> certificate will be available after completing the online evaluation and credit claiming procedure. \nLive educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME\u00ae for ECMEC\u00aes are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n
